Where to paste your Image URL

We opted for users to add images via an Image URL versus uploading their own images because we think it’s easier for you to copy and paste an image versus having to download every image and re-upload it to the app.

Our plan is to have it so that you can drop a URL from any online store and have it populate the entire gift content for you, but until then, you’ll have to fill-out/create the gifts own your own; We encourage you to include an image because it helps other users see the gift you actually want without having to click on the gift’s page. It’s really simple once you know how to do it.

For this example I’m going to use a pair of jogger sweatpants from Amazon:

Left click on the image; then right click, and you should see a menu option pop up (see image):

Correct Image URL

Select on the option that says “Copy Image Address”.

If you see an option like “Copy Address” that is incorrect. It should include the word “Copy Image”, or “Copy Image Address”, or “Copy Image URL”. It should say the word image in it. If it doesn’t, that means that it’s going to copy the link to the image and not the image URL, and we want the Image URL.

Incorrect Image URL

Some of them can be tricky; especially the zoom-on-hover images on Amazon . You might have to click through the image on Amazon or even Google search for the image if that particular Amazon store does not allow you to Copy the image Address.

Again, we hope that this will be a nuisance in the past (I’m working on it), but until then, I highly recommend that you try and get the image to show up. If it doesn’t work the first time, you can edit the image URL by clicking on the gift and selecting the “Edit” button and try and paste in a new Image URL.
